Ky qytet ra n\u00ebn pushtetin otoman shum\u00eb m\u00eb von\u00eb se disa territore fqinje. Kjo mund t\u00eb shpjegohet si nga pozita e rrall\u00eb strategjike e k\u00ebtij qyteti, ashtu edhe nga r\u00ebnd\u00ebsia q\u00eb ai kishte p\u00ebr Venedikun n\u00eb aspektin e fortifikimit dhe strategjis\u00eb detare, ekonomike e politike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Prof. Dr. Ruzhdi Ushaku<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nga koha e pushtimit t\u00eb Ulqinit nga turqit, kur Ahmet Pasha e sulmoi k\u00ebt\u00eb qytet nga toka e nga deti, p\u00ebrmendet kryekomandanti Serra Martinengo i cili, me ushtri e trima t\u00eb vendit, me q\u00ebndres\u00eb t\u00eb madhe, u b\u00ebri ball\u00eb sulmeve t\u00eb jeni\u00e7er\u00ebve turq. Megjithat\u00eb, pas detyrimit p\u00ebr n\u00ebnshkrimin e paktit p\u00ebr l\u00ebshimin e qytetit, pasoi hyrja e jeni\u00e7er\u00ebve t\u00eb t\u00ebrbuar n\u00eb qytet, e shoq\u00ebruar me pla\u00e7kitje e vrasje mizore. Disa prej banor\u00ebve mor\u00ebn malet, kurse tridhjet\u00eb murgesha, duke mos par\u00eb shp\u00ebtim e p\u00ebr mos t\u2019I r\u00ebn\u00eb n\u00eb dor\u00eb armikut, u gjuajt\u00ebn, si\u00e7 thuhet, prej k\u00ebshtjell\u00ebs dhe u mbyt\u00ebn n\u00eb det. Goj\u00ebdh\u00ebna t\u00eb ngjashme, thuajse stereotipe, jan\u00eb t\u00eb p\u00ebrhapura edhe m\u00eb gjer\u00eb. K\u00ebshtu, n\u00eb luft\u00ebn mbrojt\u00ebse t\u00eb Kruj\u00ebs nga turqit n\u00eb qershor t\u00eb vitit 1466, sipas kronist\u00ebve, krahas burrave luftonin edhe femrat shqiptare. K\u00ebshtu, kronisti bizantin Kritobulli shkruan se disa iliriane (femra shqiptare) t\u00eb ndjekura nga jeni\u00e7er\u00ebt u gjuajt\u00ebn nga shk\u00ebmbinjt\u00eb dhe u mbyten, q\u00eb p\u00ebrkon me legjend\u00ebn e \u201c90 vajzave krutane t\u00eb cilat p\u00ebr mos t\u2019u r\u00ebn\u00eb n\u00eb dor\u00eb turqve, u kapen p\u00ebr dore dhe u gjuajt\u00ebn nga shkambi n\u00eb nj\u00eb p\u00ebrrua af\u00ebr Kruj\u00ebs\u201d. Ky vend mori emrin \u201cShkambi i Vajz\u00ebs\u201d, q\u00eb na rikujton disa konkordanca toponimike p\u00ebrhapur edhe m\u00eb gjer\u00eb, si \u201cGuri i Vajz\u00ebs\u201d, si dhe p\u00ebr vashat suliote q\u00eb nuk desh\u00ebn t\u2019i binin n\u00eb duar armikut. N\u00eb tradit\u00ebn gojore t\u00eb popullat\u00ebs s\u00eb k\u00ebsaj ane jan\u00eb ruajtur edhe disa goj\u00ebdh\u00ebna t\u00eb tjera lidhur me q\u00ebndres\u00ebn e banor\u00ebve t\u00eb k\u00ebtij qyteti dhe episode nga lufta e tyre kund\u00ebr pushtuesve. Sidoqoft\u00eb, nga burimet e besueshme historiografike m\u00ebsojm\u00eb se n\u00eb gusht t\u00eb vitit 1571, garnizoni i Venedikut q\u00eb mbronte K\u00ebshtjell\u00ebn e Ulqinit u detyrua t\u00eb dor\u00ebzohej. Me k\u00ebt\u00eb rast turqit i liruan vet\u00ebm venedikasit q\u00eb t\u00eb shkonin p\u00ebr n\u00eb Raguz\u00eb, kurse mbi ulqinak\u00ebt b\u00ebn\u00eb k\u00ebrdi, duke vrar\u00eb nj\u00eb num\u00ebr t\u00eb tyre, kurse pjes\u00ebn tjet\u00ebr t\u00eb popullat\u00ebs me gra e f\u00ebmij\u00eb i mor\u00ebn rob\u00ebr dhe ia dhan\u00eb flak\u00ebn qytetit. Prej vitit 1571 Ulqini, i cili m\u00eb heret (v. 1533) p\u00ebrmendet si vendstrehim i detar\u00ebve, b\u00ebhet vat\u00ebr e fuqishme e kusar\u00ebve dhe t\u00eb gjitha anijet tregtare lundronin larg uj\u00ebrave t\u00eb tij. N\u00eb Ulqin fillon edhe tregu i rob\u00ebrve dhe, sipas disa goj\u00ebdh\u00ebnave a legjendave, k\u00ebtu u shit rob shkrimtari i njohur spanjoll Servantesi, i cili, n\u00eb betej\u00ebn e Lepantit e pat humbur nj\u00ebr\u00ebn dor\u00eb. N\u00eb nj\u00eb burim fr\u00ebng q\u00eb e pata n\u00eb dor\u00eb (Gosse, Philippe, Histoire de la piraterie, Paris, 1933), e ku b\u00ebhet fjal\u00eb p\u00ebr Servantesin, mes tjerash thuhet se m\u00eb 25 shtator 1575, derisa Servantesi me v\u00ebllaun e vet Rodrigon kthehej prej Napolit n\u00eb Spanj\u00eb, anija u sulmua nga disa galera kusar\u00ebsh q\u00eb ishin n\u00ebn urdh\u00ebrin e nj\u00eb renegati shqiptar, t\u00eb quajtur Memi (Arnaut Memi), dhe dy Servantes\u00ebt u zun\u00eb rob\u00ebr. Ka gjasa, pra, q\u00eb Servantesi t\u00eb jet\u00eb z\u00ebn\u00eb rob nga ndonj\u00eb kusar shqiptar ulqinak, dhe goj\u00ebdh\u00ebna a legjenda mbi robin Servantes n\u00eb Ulqin mos t\u00eb jet\u00eb e pabaz\u00eb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cP\u00ebr hir t\u00eb s\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00ebs, duhet pranuar se n\u00eb burimet serioze shkencore askund nuk p\u00ebrmendet t\u00eb ket\u00eb qen\u00eb Servantesi rob n\u00eb Ulqin apo t\u00eb ket\u00eb pasur ndonj\u00eb lidhje me Ulqinin. Andaj p\u00ebr nj\u00eb pohim n\u00eb lidhje me pranin\u00eb e Servantesit n\u00eb Ulqin, nevojiten k\u00ebrkime serioze me qasje interdisiplinare.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>K\u00ebshtu n\u00eb tradit\u00ebn gojore t\u00eb Ulqinit b\u00ebhet fjal\u00eb p\u00ebr nj\u00eb njeri t\u00eb ditur, q\u00eb dikur moti kishte jetuar n\u00eb Ulqin, pra, p\u00ebr dashurin\u00eb idilike mes t\u00eb ashtuquajturit Servetit me kalalesh\u00ebn e bukur ulqinake. Ka mendime se goj\u00ebdh\u00ebna mbi dashurin\u00eb e Servetit me kalalesh\u00ebn \u00ebsht\u00eb nj\u00eb modifikim dhe adaptim<br>i m\u00ebvonsh\u00ebm i ndonj\u00eb legjende m\u00eb t\u00eb hershme p\u00ebr Servantesin e famsh\u00ebm. T\u00eb dh\u00ebn\u00ebn p\u00ebr Arnaut Mamin (Memin) ose Mamin shqiptar q\u00eb e zuri rob Servantesin, e pranon shkenca e sodit, p\u00ebrfshir\u00eb k\u00ebtu edhe vet\u00eb spanjoll\u00ebt. Nd\u00ebrkaq, n\u00eb nj\u00eb burim nga gazeta prestigjioze \u201cPolitika\u201d e Beogradit, dhjetor 1978, pat\u00ebm sh\u00ebnuar nj\u00eb fragment ku thuhet: \u201cNjoh\u00ebsit e t\u00eb kaluar\u00ebs s\u00eb Ulqinit thon\u00eb se n\u00eb Nis\u00eb (Nice) ekziston dokumenti nga i cili shihet se Servantesi i famsh\u00ebm, autori i \u2018Don Kishoti\u2019, ishte rob i kusar\u00ebve t\u00eb Ulqinit, por u lirua me nd\u00ebrhyrjen e Venedikut. Megjithat\u00eb, ky dokument kurr\u00eb nuk ka qen\u00eb i publikuar, edhe pse n\u00eb lidhje me t\u00eb flitet mjaft.\u201d P\u00ebr hir t\u00eb s\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00ebs, gjat\u00eb k\u00ebrkimeve tona n\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb drejtim, duhet pranuar se n\u00eb burimet serioze shkencore askund nuk p\u00ebrmendet t\u00eb ket\u00eb qen\u00eb Servantesi rob n\u00eb Ulqin apo t\u00eb ket\u00eb pasur ndonj\u00eb lidhje me Ulqinin. Andaj p\u00ebr nj\u00eb pohim n\u00eb lidhje me pranin\u00eb e Servantesit n\u00eb Ulqin, nevojiten k\u00ebrkime serioze me qasje interdisiplinare, dhe mbi argumente solide shkencore t\u00eb ngritet s\u00eb paku nj\u00eb hipotez\u00eb pune. Por k\u00ebt\u00eb po ia l\u00ebm\u00eb koh\u00ebs dhe ndonj\u00eb rasti tjet\u00ebr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deri n\u00eb koh\u00ebn kur e pushtuan turqit, si duket, n\u00eb Ulqin zhvillohej nj\u00eb jet\u00eb mjaft e qet\u00eb, t\u00eb cil\u00ebn ta rikujton qengji q\u00eb, p\u00ebr nj\u00eb koh\u00eb ishte simbol i qytetit. Banor\u00ebt e tij merreshin me ullisht\u00eb, bujq\u00ebsi, zejtari e tregti. Prej vitit 1571 fillon transformimi i qytetit dhe i jet\u00ebs n\u00eb t\u00eb, n\u00eb rrethana e kushte t\u00eb reja. B\u00ebhet fortifikimi i qytetit pas shkat\u00ebrrimeve q\u00eb i p\u00ebsoi nga lufta, adaptohen sht\u00ebpi e nd\u00ebrtesa, e kisha paraprake e koh\u00ebs s\u00eb renesanc\u00ebs, n\u00eb af\u00ebrsi t\u00eb Port\u00ebs veriore t\u00eb Kalas\u00eb, shnd\u00ebrrohet n\u00eb xhami. Fillojn\u00eb t\u00eb ngriten objekte publike si\u00e7 jan\u00eb hamamet, krojet, e t\u00eb adaptohen sheshe e tregje, prej t\u00eb cilave dallohet ve\u00e7an\u00ebrisht i quajturi \u201cSheshi i Skllev\u00ebrve\u201d apo Pazari i Gjytetit, Kroi i Sinan Pash\u00ebs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>N\u00eb an\u00ebn e majt\u00eb t\u00eb hyrjes n\u00eb Pazarin e Gjytetit, sipas kronologjis\u00eb, vlen t\u00eb ceket edhe nj\u00eb pllak\u00eb tjet\u00ebr prej guri n\u00eb t\u00eb cil\u00ebn \u00ebsht\u00eb e gdhendur me numra romak\u00eb data MDLXVII (1567), pra nj\u00eb dat\u00eb para r\u00ebnies s\u00eb Ulqinit n\u00ebn sundimin osman. Mbi k\u00ebt\u00eb dat\u00eb \u00ebsht\u00eb i gdhendur mbishkrimi n\u00eb osmanishte, p\u00ebr t\u00eb cilin pohohet t\u00eb jet\u00eb b\u00ebr\u00eb mbi nj\u00eb mbishkrim t\u00eb m\u00ebparsh\u00ebm n\u00eb gjuh\u00ebn latine. Gjasat jan\u00eb realiste sepse me nj\u00eb v\u00ebshtrim m\u00eb t\u00eb kujdessh\u00ebm mund t\u00eb hetohet se shkrimi n\u00eb osmanishte disi nxjerr krye mbi nj\u00eb bazament t\u00eb till\u00eb. Sidoqoft\u00eb, \u00ebsht\u00eb me r\u00ebnd\u00ebsi se leximin apo p\u00ebrkthimin e k\u00ebtij mbishkrimi monumental e ka b\u00ebr\u00eb n\u00eb gjuh\u00ebn serbokroate orientalisti i njohur M. Mujesinoviq (M. Mujesinovi\u0107).
